Banner Year is a fan-forward brand built to celebrate women's sports and to reward the people who make this game what it is. We create gear for longtime supporters, new fans, and anyone who believes that showing up should feel joyful, welcoming, and worth investing in.
We love the growth this space is seeing. But let's be real. So much of it has come with rising costs. Tickets, jerseys, streaming subscriptions, even just finding something to wear to show your support. It adds up fast. We're building this brand with that in mind.
From tees and stickers to socks, hats, and more, everything we make is designed with care and priced to keep fandom accessible. And through our Fan Fund, a portion of every purchase goes back into the community, helping send fans to games, unlock exclusive rewards, and make moments that matter.
Because the rise of women's sports didn't happen by accident. It happened because fans kept showing up. And we think it's about time they got something back.
Why We're Building This
I grew up loving basketball. By the time I was four, I was already in leagues and going to camps. When I was seven, my mom and grandma would pack up the car, and we'd drive eight hours to see the Houston Comets play. We didn't have endless money, but we always found a way because the game mattered to us.
Now, women's sports are finally getting the attention they've long deserved. But with the growth has come a lot of noise: toxic takes, gatekeeping, clout-chasing, and rising prices that make it harder for fans to feel like they belong.
That's why I started Banner Year. To support the fans who love the game, and to build something that gives back to them.
This brand is a thank-you to the fans who have always been here and a welcome to the ones just finding their way in. It's not about who's been around the longest or who yells the loudest. It's about showing up with love, respect, and pride in the community we're building across basketball and beyond.
